Military diet lose up to 10 pounds in 3 days

What is the military diet? well, let’s just say it’s a hardcore approach known for its severity. Accordingly, the short military diet does not go very smoothly as far as the nutritional method is concerned. However, the period in which you have to stick to a strict nutritional plan is so short that you should be able to handle it. Above all, if you really lose weight a few pounds a time, then it’s worth looking into.

Slender as a soldier? This is how the military diet works

Military Diet

Developed in Germany the military diet gets soldiers fit in a short time. However, this does not prove why the origin of the diet is more than questionable. The concept differs from classic crash diets in that there is a fixed nutritional plan. Starving is not the order of the day. What you should eat at the Military Diet, however, to lose weight in the shortest possible time, sounds more than bizarre and partly paradoxical.

The Military Diet Nutritional Plan

The basic rule do not pass more than 1,000 calories on the first three days. Overall, the diet takes a week, but you can stretch it longer. Otherwise, however, the military diet does not seem to follow a certain program, as you can see from the pre-planned diet plan in the first three days.

Day 1

Breakfast  1/2 grapefruit, 1 slice of toast/bread, 2 tsp (peanut) butter, coffee or tea
Lunch 1 slice of bread, 1/2 can of tuna, coffee or tea

Dinner 100 g of green beans or peas, 100 g of meat (no matter which), 1 small apple, 1/2 banana, 1 ball of vanilla ice cream (yes, really!)

Day 2

Breakfast  1 slice of bread, 1 boiled egg, 1/2 banana
Lunch  2 slices of crisp bread or 5 salt crackers, 1 pack of grained fresh cheese, 1 boiled egg
Dinner  100 g of broccoli, 50 g of carrots, 100 g of meat (no matter which) or 2 hot dog sausages, 1/2 banana, 1 ball of vanilla ice cream (yes, still more!)

Day 3

Breakfast  2 slices of crispbread, 1 slice of cheese, 1 small apple
Lunch  1 serving of scrambled eggs or 1 boiled egg, 1 slice of toast
Dinner 1 can of tuna, 1/2 banana, 1 ball vanilla ice cream (Yes, also on the third evening!)

As you can see, the dietary plan is already somewhat strange and strictly limited to certain foods; only water is allowed to drink. On the other days of the military diet you may eat in principle as usual, but you should be careful not to fill yourself to avoid a yo-yo diet effect.

How does the diet really work?

By the periodical fasting, similar to intermittent fasting the body has to switch to a low-energy flame for three days, it utilizes the food considerably more effective in the following four days. But what this also means is that you really should not fall into a sweet tooth trap, otherwise the weight loss success is quickly destroyed. The body uses glucose reserves and is especially fond of fat reserves when you let it go hungry.

In the three days, you will reach a negative calorie balance, which means that you take fewer calories to you than you actually need, which naturally makes you lose a little bit of course. Most preferably, the body builds such a crash diet, however, water storage and muscles, which of course is not quite optimal. So you may lose weight quickly, but this is not automatically fat. This is why it’s important to try and last as many days as possible With this and remain in a state of subtle ketosis.
